Links

Here are some links if you would like to check out some other useful (and better put together) sites - see how the experts do it!

Gary Thornton's Six Bells Junction site. - railtour reviews and details (and a range of other topics) - Gary writes the railtour section of Rail Express.

Deltic workings from Feb 98, written by myself, put on the web by Gary Thornton.

Charlie Hulme's North Wales Coast web site is one of the best rail sites on the net and a very useful source of up to date information on the line from Crewe and Manchester to Holyhead.

The GB Unofficial Rail Enthusiasts Site (By Robert Volland) is a useful up to date source of news on general matters and rolling stock changes.

For general surfing you could do little better than visit Link Rail - a rail search engine that lists a huge number of UK railway and rail related sites.

For fans of D9000 the Deltic 9000 Locomtives Ltd website is well worth a look (and they've used some of my photos too).

For anyone wishing to know more about train timing and motive power performance the Railway Performance Society have a very useful and informative site (with details how to join). I've been a member myself for several years and can vouch for the usefulness of the material they provide).

My own e-mail address is aflowers@girdlers.demon.co.uk - I'd be happy to answer any questions (but I wouldn't ask me anything about computers!).
